I've seen threads like this on other car boards, and thought it would be fun to start one here. Just make a complete list of the cars you've owned, and which ones you still have.
'66 Dodge Dart - my first car (in 1996) and I still have it.
'89 Chrysler Lebaron
'86 Mercury Capri
'98 Isuzu Amigo - still have it.
'89 Ford Probe
'79 Triumph Spitfire - Still have it.
02 BMW M5 (still own)
01 BMW M3
01 Mercedes CLK55
99 Chevy Silverado Ext-cab LT Z71 (Still own)
96 BMW M3
92 BMW 325is
88 Toyota Supra
84 BMW 323i (euro-spec, wish I still had it)
76 Corvette (still have, needs restoration)
82 Pontiac Trans-am
My next car??? It will probably be a convertible but what convertible depends on price and which vehicle I will get rid of to get it. If I get rid of the truck then I will buy a used previous body style Mercedes SL500 sport or Boxster S. If I get rid of the M5 I will get a used Z8, new or used 911 cab, or used SL55. I'm leaning toward the Z8 since prices are getting reasonable and it's so similar to the M5 (which I love) but I've never owned a P-car and probably should while I'm young enough to appreciate and still enjoying shifting for myself.

I'm just starting so my list will be short:
1993 Toyota Camry, boring but it got me around. 140k miles
1987 Mercedes 300SDL, currently getting restored, 240k miles. A lot of fun to drive and screams up to 120.
Also had a 1988 420SEL parts car that died of rust. Fun to rip apart and see the quality and old school workmanship that went into it.
Next I'm thinking a late 90's W140, probably either an S500 or S320. But that won't be until I finish college. Or an XJ8.

I'm sure I'm missing a couple but here are most of my list :
1980 Datsun 200sx (first car handed down by parents)
1985 Mustang Lx Convertible
1987 Oldsmobile Forenza
1988 Dodge (can't for the life of me remember what it was called a boxy suv)
1985 Chrysler Lebaron Convertible **main computer went out on this vehicle twice
1985 BMW 318 (wonderful little sports car, only sold because I was pregnant and driving stick became a hassle)
1990 Chrysler Lebaron Convertible
1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse **Fun little sporty car!
1992 Chrysler New Yorker **smooth ride, like floating on air!
1995 Chevrolet Tahoe **Great SUV!
1995 Jeep Cherokee Laredo
1995 Chevy Blazer **Lots of little rattles, will not purchase lower end SUV's
1990 Jeep Cherokee **Fabulous SUV
1998 Chevy Suburban **Loved the feeling of safety in this one!
1987 Nissan Mixima **paid cash no problems sold at 160,000 miles!
2002 Chevrolet Suburban Z71**The best out of all, will be next vehicle!!!!!
2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT (has had more problems then all of the above combined!)
As you can tell I love vehicles and the fact that my husband has worked in sales, finance and manager positions for dealerships all his life keeps me going! I'd see something I'd like and get it, till now since we signed a lease (which he always has said never to do) now I'm stuck in this hunk of junk for a couple more years *sigh*

Eerrrmm....
Been awhile since anyone posted here and maybe I can rejuvenate it ~
First car:
1974 AMC Matador sedan / 401c.i.d. V8 Carter ThermoQuad 4bbl., 727 TorqueFlite 3sp. Auto. Tranny with AMC's "AccuTrac" limited-slip posi. rear end.
Ugly as sin but it was an inheritance from my grandfather when he passed I dearly loved it. I went to a rather "preppy" high school whose district encompassed most of the wealthier parts of my hometown. The lil rich kids whose parents would buy them everything under the sun couldn't understand why that big ugly boat I was rollin' would run the wheels off of their Mustangs and Camaros! I drove it until it finally gave up in protest at almost 300K miles and was then retired to a salvage yard.
After that.....
1987 Nissan Sentra 2-door
1981 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado ext. cab fleetside
1978 Ford Thunderbird (351 Cleveland w/ a C6 auto - it was nice)
1985 Chevy Cavalier Wagon (later nicknamed 'Puff The Tragic Wagon')
1981 Datsun B-210
1984 Isuzu Impulse (one of the first years of it - it was RWD!)
1980 Dodge St. Regis that was a retired police car - nicknamed 'Dodgenstein' after some motor work
1983 Dodge D250 4x4 "PowerWagon" pickup (still own) - nicknamed Dodgenstein II after being donated the reworked 360c.i.d. police interceptor motor from the original Dodgenstein
1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria - another inheritance from a grandparent's passing
1982 Buick Skylark Limited - bought for $300, sold for $500 a week later - terrible little car...uugh!
1995 Geo Prizm (still own) My daily driver and rolling jukebox

All that stuffed into a 1995 Geo (YES, a GEO!) Prizm
1978 Chevette. City buses used to pass me on hills!
1981 Chrysler LeBaron
1983 Buick Regal
1980? Chrysler Cordoba
1987 Nissan Sentra. The start of my Nissan devotion.
1996 Nissan 200SX SE-R. Best car for the price at that time.
2000 Nissan Sentra SE. Lost 200SX in an accident. Got this one because it has the same SR-20DE motor. Great car.
1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - smoked like a freight train and always fouled the spark plugs. 267 cubic inch/4.4 liter V8 w/ 2 barrel carburetor and a cool gauge package w/ bucket seats and shifter on the floor.
1973 Chrysler New Yorker - A gas guzzling behemoth, 440 cubic inch V8 with a Carter 4 barrel carburetor It had a very cushiony ride and a real plush interior and could also smoke the living hell out of the rear tires.
1976 Chevrolet Malibu - 305 cubic inch/5.0 liter V8 2 barrel carburetor. I think 1976 was the first year of the 305, GM's HEI ignition system, and the catalytic converter.
1986 Lincoln Continental - My first really nice car, traded the Malibu in on it. Had the 302 cubic inch/5.0 liter V8 w/fuel injection. Bent it around a tree after hitting an icy patch of I-64 near Richmond, Virginia.
1978 Oldmobile Cutlass Supreme - Didnt know what I was getting myself into with this one. Out with the factory 260 cubic inch/4.3 liter 2 barrel V8 and in with the 455 cubic inch V8, which the cylinders had been oversized .030" which actually made it displace 461 cubic inches. I also had a camshaft from PAW with .472" lift on the intake and .496" on the exhaust with an Edelbrock carburetor. When it was right the car could melt the tires down to the rim.
1986 Dodge 600 ES Turbo Convertible - My first front-wheel drive car, which I was apprehensive about but I thought the turbo whine was cool. Had to have a car that ran while I did tricks to the Olds but this car turned out to be a headache too. Less than 90K and one of the axleshafts breaks.
1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT - My first brand new car. It was great but I had to have the supercharger.
1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP - Very nice and fast. 2- door, Leather, sunroof, CD. No major problems all the way up to 189K miles, always used synthetic oil.
2002 BMW 530i - Don't know what I was thinking since I am a General Motors man. But I had two different mechanics, who have never met, strongly suggest I stay away from Cadillacs. A third actually owns one and needed to have his engine replaced after less that 25K miles. So I "sold out" as some of my friends might say.
been a while since ive been here..
cars that have been under my name over the last 3 years or so
1987 Honda CRXsi (lots of fun in the corners)
1994 Chevrolet Cavalier RS (NOT my cup of tea)
1997 Dodge Avenger ES (fun in corners, just not enough)
1986 Jeep CJ7 (who give a damn about corners when you can climb stuff?)
so there you have it folks.. only had my name on 4 vehicules thus far in my life.. and one more thing.. Jeep really stand for Just Empty Every Pocket as that like to drink gas alot
and one more thing.. i have an incurrable dissease.. called Jeepitis... the only thing that makes the pain go away is wheeling my Jeep on rougher tougher more challenging trails
send help!
