    Hey there CarRacer,

I am an editor for Carreview.com and guess what car I happen to own? I bought my Nordic Green RX8 new in April of 2004 and it now has 34000 miles on it. For over three years this car has been a dream, well mostly.

    Blings:
100% Trouble free - absolutely not one issue with the car.
    One-of-a-kind styling
Looks and drives like a $50,000 car
The most neutral, well-behaved sports car you'll ever drive
Super quiet, smooth and comfortable on the highway
Can fit four normal sized humans without fuss
The rotary hum at 9,000RPMs is like...well, you probably already know that!!
When you hit the gas above 5000RPMs, look out. Instant power all the way to redline.

    Dings:
Fuel economy is horrible (20MPG on hiway if I'm easy on it)
    No torque under 4500 RPMs
Quality/durability of interior plastics is not great
Owning an RX7, you probably know about the 'cold start' issues with rotarys.

    Ruling:
If you can get over the poor fuel economy, for the money there isn't another sports car out there that is as versatile, fun to drive and unique as the RX8.

I think this car gets a bad rap only because of poor fuel economy. If you look at the price these cars are going for used, in my opinion they are a STEAL. Don't buy a new one. Find a low mileage used one.

    Good luck!

Hmmm...for some wierd reason I get the vibe that I'm in the middle of a strange conversation with two other people trying to passively hawk "Mazda OEM Parts", "BMW Distributor Cap" and "BMW Distributor Rotor" - but make note, only one cap and one rotor - with separate links - in case you want to separately purchase one single cap and one single rotor.

And WTF does "but I'm not really regarding the parts of them" mean?

What is the internet forum world coming to?
