FM Modulation - Lower-Quality Signal?

For systems that use FM modulation, does that decrease the signal quality from CD-quality to radio-quality? Or is the quality of a radio broadcast start the transmission as such?

Decreases the quality to a really good radio signal, I dont like them, I use wires . Now there are wireless cables with special receivers and they will be higher quality.

FM quality is equal to a 64 Kbps .mp3 file. CD audio is 1141 Kbps. As you can see, a significant difference. FM modulation is essentially a super small radio antenna in your car broadcasting to your car, and maybe the one next to you.

Yep thats right, ya know what though your a post whore haha. The best you will ever get is the best radio ever can get, and that isnt very good quality.

So if I had a choice between putting an FM-modulated CD changer in or buying a new HU compatible with the changer, I'd be wise to spend more money.
