    Replacing toyota Tundra O2 sensor

    Greetings,

My check engine light came on and the code says bank 2 Sensor 1 which is my right front sensor. Has anyone replaced this? Is it easy to get to and are there special tools required to replace it? My truck has 53k miles on it.

    Please let me know,

    Thanks, Mike

    O2 sensors

The O2 sensor is pretty visible - it's the only sensor that threads into the exhaust. I'm not sure about where exactly it is on a Tundra but it should be pretty easy to spot it and figure out if you can get to it or not. You're supposed to use a special socket to change an O2 sensor. Realistically, a crescent wrench will usually do the job.
