so what does 20hz sound like on a sub? most amps i know cant go that low

You cant really hear it, just air moving, and its not hte amp that cant go that low its hte subwoofer You need lots of excursion to get that low and low distortion woofer to hear 20hz truly, since your not suppose to really hear anything just feel it, cool feeling.

Haha, I don't have to worry about that, my HT is in the basement, and I live out in the country, no such thing as disturbing the peace out here (unless it deals with guns)

Yeah your lucky, my neighbors told me once that they here my subs in my basement alot lol oh well. Its all good they are nice I help them out for stuff so its all good.

I forgot to mention that even that isn't enforced all the time. I've had two occasions where I've gotten angry phone calls from my neighbors because they've almost been hit by ricocheting bullets. I only use a shotgun anymore, not as many angry calls (still the occasional one saying I'm scaring their dog)
