    Good news

After 11 months and 22 days, I finally got my issues with FedEx resolved. They finally sent me a check to pay for the repairs on my one Stroker. Now I gotta cough up another $125 to fix the one I blew up.

So , I'll have a pair of "new" Strokers again soon, I'm thinking of working them into my HT, grap a plate amp from Easy to power them.

Well good now you can have bass, and yes you can make those strokers sound good for HT, I mean they arent the best SQ woofers but they were originally designed for theatures and people realized wow these get loud so people started using them in cars. And yes I can hook you up with an plateamp once they are realeased.

    Thats my 2 cents.

What size plate amp would you recommend for a pair os 12" Strokers. I don't need anything too aweful powerful, it's just HT, not anything high performance at all.

I'm thinking 1000 watts might be a little much for my application.

The rest of the speakers are powered by a 100wattx5 reciever, so the low end will obliterate everything else.

I'm thinking of building the subwoofer box into the couch, firing upwards, just to add that extra "feel" to the movie.

I can get you that 1000 watt amp for about the same price as the the price of 2 250 watt Adire AVA250 amps maybe a little less. So that should be fine, you dont have to use all the power now do you ;)

    Thats my 2 cnets.

That will work tried it once with some small 10s. But I dont know if you will need it if you are running 500 watts to each stroker kinda be just a little loud, having the subs behind your head ;)

    Thats my 2 cents.

Not behind your head, under your butt. The subs will fire right up into the cushions.

Yep thought so, so tune around 30hz, that way you can get from 30-33hz which is the common note ;) But it depends on body mass.

    Thats my 2 cents.

I was thinking of tuning to about 25-28, so 30-33 will be in my range.
