    Is this a good deal??
Ive been offered 2 10" JL Audio W0's with a 400 watt amp for $400. There also is a year left on the warrenty. Is this a good deal? Im new to subs and heard JL Audio was good so i figured this was a good deal, but i need some help from a experienced person.

depends on the amp, the subs alone i am sure can be had for about $100 a pair if you look good enough, but you still have a warrenty on them, so that helps sweeten the deal some

Sounds like a little bit of a ripoff. Those 10W0s really aren't worth that much as the JL 'e' series amps are not worth as much as the Slash series. I say you save that $400 for the new RE woofer...hot damn that thing is sexy.

Try to talk him down to the range of $200-250. Those subs can easily be had for less than 100 each, and I'm sure you can find that amp for under $200 somewhere.

I'll have to go with majority opinion on this one - In my opinion the JL W0's aren't as good as the Kenwood eXcelons I just retired. They won't take much power and aren't very accurate. Which JL amp is part of the deal? The slash series are pretty decent units with their oddball power supply but the 'e' series only really offered gear that represented money better spent elsewhere.

Let us know how it goes for you :)
