hey i just put it some $8 (shipped w/ insurance) headligts and look at the difference they made? what do u think? I got them from ebay.

There is definitely a difference in brightness and color. Keep us posted if the new bulbs last or blow after a few months of use. Sometimes aftermarket bulbs have terribly short life spans.
I suggest checking the wire harness to the headlights and make sure it is not hot to the touch. Higher wattage bulbs suck more power and heat things up.
