Powering a sub with 2 amps?
Is this possible? to wire a sub up to 2 different amps? and if so what is the effect? do you get double the power?

    I'm just curious?

I don't know if thast a good idea but I woul ddo It I would get a DVC 2ohm sub and then get 2 2channel amps and bridge them to 2 ohms each and hook it up to each VC. You probably would need to the same power goign into bot VC though.

Yes its possible, not recomended though for the average user. You can run an amp to each voice coil, make sure you make the outputs the same. You can strap 2 amps together if they are strappable, and you can also bridge 2 mono amps together but thats for us experts who really know what there doing...

I wouldn't do it period, it just add more possiblity of something messing up. Just try to find one amp big enough to power the sub.

Well thats good advice for noobs but yeah multiple amps on multiple coils and bridging mono amps are just so much fun :)
