On many cars, the same brake warning light is used to both signal the handbrake being on, and warn you that the brake system has a problem with the pressure not being correctly ballanced. If it stays on, it often means the latter. This usually means something is leaking somewhere. If you do not know how to troubleshoot brakes, I recommend taking it to a professional.

What if there is no leakage in the car?

Is this leakage very minimal (which cannot be seen by the naked eye)

Glad to hear that worked out. Now it would be safest to find where the fluid was leaking from and repair that. Check the hoses and connections, and see if you can spot any fluid leaking out from the calipers too. If you can't find the source of the leak, I would have a mechanic look at it. I've found out the hard way that little, slow leaks can rapidly turn into huge ones.
