I know this list is a little shorter than others, but I think at my age (23), i've covered a wide spectrum...

1998 - Chrysler Neon - A constant nightmare (previously owned by my dad)
2003 - Dodge Neon SRT-4 - Fast...but still an ugly and cheap american car (my first car)
2005 - Chrysler Cirrus LXI Turbo - Again a horrible car (previously owned by my dad)
2005 - Volvo S40 T5 - Good car for a soccer mom, but not good for driving in Mexico
(previously owned by my mom)
2005 - Acura TL - Finally a decent car!!! (brand new and mine)

I think this is my first post. Thank you all for sharing your cars and lives.
I will cheat a bit, and also mention the cars I remember as I grew up.
So, come with me down memory lane....

1st car I remember: 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne wagon - green -- Dad said it was built on a Monday. He said he had the paperwork showing that. Yes, it was a lemon.
Next was the 1969 or 1970 Volkswagon-411, red. Must have been another lemon because Dad got rid of that for a 1972 or 1973 Fiat 124TC --Oh what a lemon; green again. It was awful. I remember driving it and always breaking down.

In 1978 grandma led my parents to an old neighbor who had a 1975 Ford Maverick with only 3,000 miles on it. They bought it, and gave it to me in 1982. I drove it for another seven years.

1987 - My wife bought a 1973 Chevy Nova Rally with a V8 304ci engine from my (former) brother-in-law. Less than 1000 miles later the camshaft blew, but she loved that car. What acceleration! Solid steel frame. Don't buy a car from anything-in-law.

1989 - Finally, first car I bought for me: Chevy S10 Blazer with 4WD; black & silver; loved that car.
1992 - Car for wife; Dodge Shadow ; pearl blue; first engine went after 75K miles, but then it lasted a long time. 97HP, no acceleration at all.

2003 - Traded in the first Blazer for a new one; deep blue; 4wd; liked it, but it had the usual little GM quirks and problems.
2004 - Traded in the Dodge Shadow for wife's next car; Toyota Corolla; she loves it; no problems ever.

2005 - Traded in Blazer for Ford Escape Hybrid; wife admitted she didn't like Blazer, and rising price of gas made me just leave the Blazer in driveway. I love to drive this new car.

1)Ford Falcon 1965 I had this repainted and put a new stereo in it.The enjine finally went bad in it.

3)Ford Escourt 1996 2 door I own this one now.

96 (leased new) Chevy Blazer 2-door: My first car, which was great with weather conditions where I grew up. My brother wrecked it (you'll notice a trend)

98 (leased new) Chevy Monte Carlo -- Lease ended on the Blazer and got this for my last year of high school. Great car, but see above for what my brother did.

'00 (leased one year old)VW Jetta -- My brother pulls a threepeat

'02 (bought new) VW Jetta -- My current ride that I bought after college graduation.

'94 Corvette ZR1 -- My uncle (RIP) left this to me. Its still back at home, but I can't wait to give it a go next summer.

these are just the convertibles we have had since being married we have had a 1984 dodge 600 convertible a 1993 chevy cavalier z-24 convertible a 2004 chrysler sebring 4 cyl convertible a 2004 chrysler sebring 6 cyl convertible and our 2 newest toys a 1972 olds 442 convertible and a 1975 chevy caprice classic convertible. if i named every single car we have owned i would probably run out of room. for those of us that are convertible crazy like we are you cant have too many of them because they are such cool cars and theres nothing like being in one.

1949 Dodge Cornet - Fluid shift transmission (won car in 1965).
1964 Chev Corvair Monza Spyder - Fun car bought in 1967 sold in 1968 (drafted Army).
1966 VW Bug - Never again - Bought in 1970 after Army and it died in 1972.
1965 Dodge Dart - V6 and wished it was a V8 (free was grandpa's car 1971).
1966 Rambler Ambassador - Would be great dating (free from in-laws 1974).
1978 Chev Malibu Wagon - First new car we ever bought, good highway/family car, 305V8 currently has 347,000 miles on same engine that's never been rebuild - gave to son in 1997 and we got it back this year when son got married (we still have it).
1972 Datsun 510 Pickup - Bought used 1978, fun truck and traded in for Datsun 210.
1981 Datsun 210 Hatchback - Bought new in 1982, 1.2L, great gas mileage (30+ city / 36+ hwy), currently has 267,000 miles on same engine that's never been rebuild (we still have it).
1991 Ols Cutlass Ciera Wagon - Purchased used 1997, 3.3L V6 currently has 156,000 miles on same engine, no major problems but the 1978 Chev Wagon is a better highway car (we still have).
2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS - Bought repo our Credit Union last July, it was a company repo car with 15,500 miles a 2.7L V6 and is very nice to drive (still have)
We have 4 cars now for the two of us and we are finding it hard to get rid of the 1978 Chev Wagon and the 1981 Datsun 210 because of setiment.

Interesting, I learned how to drive stick-shift on an '81 Datsun 210.

Man, I didn't learn how to drive a stick until a few years back on my Jetta.

If they are on film, you'll need a scanner to get them into a format your computer can read. How to do this will depend on the scanner model and its software.. If you don't have access to a scanner and would rather not buy one, you can bring a disc and the photos to Kinko's and have them put it on the disc for you. If you took the pictures with a digital camera, you're already more than halfway there.

Once the picture is on a disc and in your computer, when you post, click on the "Upload / Manage Photos" button below the buttons where you can submit your post. A set of dialogs will appear where you can find the photos on your computer and the forum software will automatically put them in your post.

I wish today I had some of what i had but wishing ...ok

after seeing it on display at the michigan-ohio state game, I'm thinking that if I get an SUV, I might consider the Jeep Commander as my next vehicle of choice. I've always wanted a Jeep and this one looks pretty bad ass. I just hope a family doesnt pop up soon to fill it with :)
