Bridgestone Potenza E92 tires

I drive a 2004 Subaru Outback, and it came with Potenza E92 tires. In the last few weeks, two of the tires have split, with the tread separating from the sidewall. One tire split about a month ago (the tires have 35,000 miles of wear) and another tire split yesterday, while I was traveling 50 mph. Luckily the Outback held the road, and I limped home safely. Has anyone else had similar trouble with their Potenza's, around this mileage wear?

I'm using Pontenza G3s and I did'nt encounter any problem. You might want to try other brand like Yokohama.

You can get a replacement ... try to contact Bridgestone and usually they send to their dealers for inspection ... so we end up doing is paying for the replacement and get refund after mailing, and he said he must send to the manufacturer and obtain the final.

have you tried Goodyear tires?I've been using it and it didn't give me any problem.

Honestly. I haven't experienced any troubles using Potenza. Maybe you're just a bit unlucky during that day or maybe you haven't check you're tires very well.

Try firestone or Goodyear. This two tires are two quality of all tires. :rolleyes:

We bought a set of General Altimax HP tires for our 2002 Subaru Outback and also recommended them as replacement tires for a 2005 Honda CR-V. More than 20k miles logged on both sets and zero issues thus far.

Choosing from those two tires. I would go for Goodyear because it is much known than firestone and for me Goodyear have the highest quality of tires.
