Tuner Special: BF Performance GT540

ZUG, Switzerland — BF Performance has staked its reputation on outstanding conversions of Lamborghinis. Its latest package, displayed at the recent Frankfurt auto show, is the GT540, a makeover of the Gallardo.

The aero body kit includes a new front spoiler, side skirts and a rear diffuser, plus a choice of two rear spoilers. BF Performance also offers a traditional scissors-type door conversion. Additional carbon-fiber body parts include fender mirrors and a transparent hood.

The tuner mildly tweaks the Gallardo's 5.0-liter V10, with modest increases in horsepower and torque, and adds a high-performance exhaust system with a remote-controlled sound filter. Carbon-ceramic brakes also have been fitted.

BF Performance offers a range of interior upgrades, including a specially designed steering wheel, color-coded seats in leather and Alcantara, a high-end audio system and trim accents in a choice of fine or coarse carbon fiber with matte or gloss finish.
