95 honda civic ex wiring problem
    hi,
i have a 95 honda civic coupe ex

recently i purchased a pioneer deh-6600 and installed it myself. everything was working fine until one day my friend decided to install two subs in the trunk. After his installation my radio and clock both do not work. The radio wasn't short-circuted, we tested on his acura to make sure, but the radio will not work in my civic. the clock somewhat works but a little differently now. The clock only works when the car is on, but the clock thinks the car is off, so you can only see the time if you hold the on button while the car is on, but when you turn the car off, no power goes to the clock, so everytime you turn the car on it is once again 1:00. I took the car to a small mechanic place and they said the ignition wire may be fried and i may need to replace it. Can somebody please tell me what is wrong with the wiring in my dash, and how can i fix it.
    muchos thanx,

Sounds like you have the ignition(switched) and constant power supplies backwards.

    Constant Fuse blown
It sounds like you have blown the constant power fuse. This happens very easily with pioneer decks. The fuse is a 5 to 10 Amp fuse. It is located in the fuse box under the hood of the car against the firewall on the passengers side. If you keep blowing it, just put in a slightly larger fuse.
